Film, Television, and Streaming Production

Film, Television, and Streaming. We Produce Feature-Length Films, Documentaries and Entertainment Videos for Producers, Studios, and Networks. The films we produce are distributed nationally on television, in theaters, and online streaming platforms. We are a full-service production company that handles feature film and television projects from start to finish, managing pre-production all the way to distribution. We also provide specific services in the film production pipeline. Let’s take a look at some of the film work we have produced in the past. We produced the feature-length film “America’s First Guru” released nationally on PBS. America’s First Guru is the compelling story of how a young and charismatic Indian monk named Swami Vivekananda, now nearly forgotten, forever changed American popular and spiritual culture at the first World’s Parliament of Religions in Chicago. Vivekananda ultimately put in motion ideas that changed the collective conversation and became America's First Guru. Shades Studios and owner David Fraunberger produced the film for the production company A Thousand Suns Academy run by creative force Raja Choudhury, the director and also a producer on the film engaged us to handle pre-production, production, and post-production for the film. America’s First Guru can be viewed on your local PBS channel, streamed via the PBS Passport App, or watched directly on PBS.org. We managed post-production for a film backed by AGBO, the Russo Brother’s production company. When producers and directors Stefano Da Fre and Laura Pellegrini needed to wrap post-production on a tight deadline they came to Shades Studios to handle the task. We provided post-production on the film ranging from color correction of Red camera footage, data management, archival footage restoration, audio mixing and mastering, encoding, editing of a post-credit scene, and prepared multiple deliverables needed for distribution including a trailer for the film used for marketing and advertising. We produced a documentary backed by the federal government for the Institute of Museum and Library Services. This short-form documentary tells the story of The New Jersey State Library’s Fresh Start at Your Library initiative, a statewide reentry program that offers GED prep, job training, one-on-one assessments with licensed social workers, and referrals to community resources and employment opportunities for citizens returning to their local communities upon completion of their prison term. The program is offered in partnership with the New Jersey State Parole Board. Alongside our feature-length productions we produce short-form content for the entertainment industry. We have produced hundreds of short-form videos and media ranging from short films, music videos, web series, video podcasts, and social videos for entertainers.
