Film, Television, and Streaming

We Produce Feature-Length Films, Documentaries and Entertainment Videos for Producers, Studios, and Networks.

The films we produced are distributed nationally on television, in theaters, and online.

We are a full-service production company that handles feature film and television projects from start to finish, managing pre-production all the way to distribution. In other cases we provide specific services in the film production pipeline. Let’s take a look at some of our film work we have produced in the past.

We produced the feature length film “America’s First Guru” released nationally on PBS.

America’s First Guru is the compelling story of how a young and charismatic Indian monk named Swami Vivekananda, now nearly forgotten, forever changed American popular and spiritual culture at the first World’s Parliament of Religions in Chicago. Vivekananda ultimately put in motion ideas that changed the collective conversation and became America's First Guru.

Shades Studios and owner David Fraunberger produced the film for the production company A Thousand Suns Academy run by creative force Raja Choudhury, the director and also a producer on the film engaged us to handle pre-production, production, and post-production for the film.

America’s First Guru can be viewed on your local PBS channel, streamed via the PBS Passport App, or watched directly on the PBS.org website by clicking the button below. PBS.org will open in a new tab so you can continue reviewing our film work. We have also provided the first 5 minutes of the film which below directly on our site.
